Travel Guide
Helpful tips for guests traveling from Punjab, Sindh, Islamabad, and across Pakistan to Gilgit-Baltistan.
Most guests reach us via Skardu (roughly 2–3 hours by jeep, depending on road and weather). Plan an early start and enjoy the scenic Skardu to Deosai route.
Fly to Skardu when possible, or drive via the Karakoram Highway through Gilgit. We recommend breaking the journey in Hunza or Gilgit for a relaxed northern Pakistan trip.
Deosai is typically accessible from late June through September. Meadows are lush in summer; nights are cool — pack warm layers.
Warm jacket, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, power bank, and any personal meds. Roads can be adventurous — travel with buffer days.
